Professional Background

My training in Sensorimotor psychotherapy focused on the somatic processing and resolution of traumatic activation and attachment and developmental wounds. Earlier in my career I worked with clients using somatic processing and bodywork (CMT), specializing in work with survivors of sexual abuse and other trauma.

During that time I worked with PTSD, anxiety disorders, self-harm behaviors, addiction and dissociative disorders. When I later returned to school to complete my Master’s degree in Counseling, I did so with more than 5 years of experience using a somatic psychotherapy method in my work with bodywork clients.
